We all know and love one of Orrell RUFC’s biggest fans and superstars, Ava K. Well Ava is now famous around her hometown of Shevington Moor/Standish for the amazing Rainbow Wall she has created outside her home when she appeared on Standish Voice Facebook page.

We’re sure there are lots of rainbows brightening up the windows of Orrell, but Ava has decided to create a huge rainbow house instead!

Her mum, Tracey said: “Ava started drawing rainbows for the neighbours and we were looking for other things to do for the street and community to enjoy. We started thinking about painting the wall a couple of weeks ago".

Inspired by her teaching assistant at school, who told Ava about the rocks being painted with messages and the idea grew into panting the wall in blocks colours. Ava then started writing her own messages in the bricks with "look at the rainbows"; 'thank you good people of the NHS" ........ and the Rainbow Thank You Wall was born said mum Tracey.

Ava has also been making other kind gestures such as leaving sweets for the bin men and toys for children outside her house. In a world where you can be anything – be kind – just kinda describes Ava!

Well done, Ava – everyone here at Orrell RUFC is very very very proud of you!
