Today marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day - Victory in Europe Day, celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.

Although we can't celebrate with family and friends as we would have normally, but we will be thinking of everyone today when we mark the occasion this afternoon and even join in with a rousing chorus of "We'll Meet Again".
