Orrell RUFC are saddened to hear the news of the passing of Ian Rayner. Ian was a well respected Head Teacher within the Wigan Borough. Ian was the first headteacher of Hawkley Hall High School, and before that was headteacher at Marus Bridge Middle School.

Ian was an avid supporter of Orrell Rugby Union Football Club for many years. Our sincere condolences go out to Pat his wife and family at this sad time.

Mr Rayner's funeral will be held at Charnock Richard Crematorium on January 18th at 10am.
