What a performance from our lads, we said as coaches if today we were beaten by the better team then so be it, as long as we didn’t leave anything out there and gave it our all, that's all we can ask.

And well, we were the better team and we couldn’t be more prouder. The game got off to a nip and tuck start, before Tyldesley capitalised on a few errors to take a 14 - 0 lead. Collecting a yellow card in the process through their, what we are used to now, ill discipline.
But our lads kept their discipline and class throughout.

2nd Half and the lads had 2 choices, let their heads drop and whimper out the Cup, or take it to Tyldesley with the fight and spirit they did. Poor Discipline lead to two Penalties by Tyldesley and great game management from our lads, with Louie's cool boot gaining us 6 quick points on the board. Some great play again and Jordan barged over the line to grab our first Try, neatly converted by Louie who today was on fire with his kicking but was saving the best until last!

More ill discipline from Tyldesley led to another yellow card but managing to bag a try, taking their lead to 19 - 13. Again, the lads could have let their heads drop but they were not up for that and with some great play, Prior crosses for our 2nd Try right in the corner. Now up step Louie for his finest moment, with nerves of steel and what can only be described as a sensational kick from near the touchline to give us our winning lead of
20-19 !!

Signal what seemed like the longest 4 minutes ever and the better game management from our lads saw out the game.

The jubilation from the lads to come away with a victory in the most hostile of environments, made it even sweeter of a victory. Credit to the lads for letting their rugby do the talking. A well deserved place in the Lancs Cup Final - enjoy this moment lads and lets go again in the Final
